Not that it’s actually a surprise that there is a haupia ice cream. Considering that there are far raunchier things (ie. fish ice cream, etc), haupia is actually a good ice cream flavor to have. This will be have to be something on the ‘do try’ list, far higher than that of other things such as durian flavors. It also seems to be of at least a HI local favor as the various news articles that popped up when the manufacturer lost it’s supplier for premium coconut milk. Maybe someone will pipe in to say whether this is a ‘go’ or no go’ flavor, but for now it will be seen whether this is available on the mainland.
