TGIF! Reviews are done. Reports are checked off. The rumor is that tomorrow may actually be Saturday.
But most importantly the Apple iPad is available for order.
It will yet to be determined if the iPad is yet another device that creeps it’s way into daily life of the everyday people or if it’s size leaves it only to the techno collector. The usage by the rather finicky masses is better determined by the “mom” test. If my mother gets one (which by the way is more a statement of generation, and propensity to not like that which is electronic, not of age) and finds everyday uses for it, then it may pass. Non-adoption by the many, states that it is only a techy-toy for those who are electronically inclined. Mass use not only makes for an interesting cultural stamp, but adds another layer of bane to family technical support. But the world will survive I’d only to know that it just makes for a better Friday … Apple Computer

Since there haven’t been any posts in a while, I thought a nice re-entry would be to help promote a friend’s blog site on mobile devices. Mobile has become a huge cultural wave that is changing the way people socialize and go about doing day to day activities. This is not a new phenomenon in Europe and Asian, but now is finally taking root in America. With new releases and progress in the netbook market and iPads (definitely not a name endorsed by the vast majority of women that I’ve talked to) of the world, mobile tech will continue to push the bounds of who and what we all determine is the definition of the word ‘friend’. Hopefully as the search for wired freedom, we don’t forget about the people that are really behind the icons, nor that a picture does not define or confirm somebodies existence. Jump to
